Day 10: February 24th .. 2lbs 15oz
Ryker has been a little frazzled today. Docs believed he was ready to be intubated and moved to the cpap machine, another big step in the right direction for his respiratory development! It is causing him to look a little swollen, but apparently that’s normal. Poor booger. Nick and the girls are headed back home today. I will stay at the Ronald McDonald House through the week since I’m still on driving and carrying restrictions. Nick was able to get some snuggles today with our little astronaut. Hopefully tomorrow will be a calmer day for our little guy. I’m sure the change in respiratory care was a little overwhelming, plus they are weaning him off the pain meds and IV fluids. Lots of changes! Little Rockstar 😍
