Day 19: March 5, 2019 … 3lbs 2oz
Feeling a little under the weather today. Nick and Z had a mild cold last week which mainly consisted of exhaustion and a runny nose. Luckily it was short lived… not sure if I’ve picked up what they had, or borderline mastitis as I’m prone to getting it.. I had it 3-4 times after having Zylee.. I wore a mask as precaution and kept my distance while I sat waiting for the doctors to do their rounds this morning.
Head Circumference: We’ve now jumped to 29cm.. The docs said they expect his head to increase approximately 1cm/week, however he’s now at 1.5cm in 5 days.. They have decided to keep the head ultrasound for Thursday for the time being, unless things continue to increase rapidly.. Really hoping things start to slow down.. It’s pretty nerve wracking… However, we received so much doom and gloom throughout the pregnancy that I’ve come to a point of rather dwelling in worse case scenario, I just have to look at what each day brings us. Ryker jumped over SO many hurdles in utero. We could have easily given up based of “what COULD be”, but we put our energy in “what IS now” and took each day as they came. Now we are blessed with a handsome little miracle!
Ryker did well during his physical therapy this morning. He didn’t get overly riled up like he has in the past. So, good progress today!
His face is starting to change already! His chubby little cheeks are starting to fill in. He looked at me this morning.. I love how alert he is. <3
