Day 39: March 25th
Zylee and I spent the day together taking Addi to the bus stop, running errands and visiting my OBGYN before heading back to Denver. All checked out good! Zylee is a hoot! There were dogs at the bus stop who were barking away.. She proceeded to bark right back at them. We stopped for lunch before heading back south. I just had her sit in the booth next to me as we both ate our meals. With every bite, she would say “mmmmm” and wiggle her hips! Such a goof!
I was able to stop by and see Ryker briefly this evening. They still have sibling visitation restrictions for the NICU, and by the time we made it to the hospital, there was only about 20 minutes left before the drop in care was closing. Ryker was still on a CPAP of 7, and they hadn’t really changed anything at rounds. He did gain another 90 grams though, up to 4lbs 3oz, and is 16.3″ long! They’ve have his isolette roof up the last few days, and has regulated his temperature really well since! They’ve talked about moving him to a crib sometime in the near future. Overall though, he’s had a pretty good, calm day.
