Day 53: April 8th
Zylee and I visited with Ryker this afternoon. He had a couple of bradycardia events as I arrived and was leaving.. his nurse said he hasn’t done that all morning.. it’s likely due to being off the caffeine. They’ll keep an eye out for more episodes. They’ve started a diuretic again, as he has been retaining quite a bit of water and could also be affecting his breathing and cardiac events.
They still have him on CPAP of 6, although his nurse was talking about swapping his mask and headgear to cannula, just so his pocket of fluid on his head has a better opportunity to absorb.
Only other change was he was upgraded to a crib! They’ve been talking about this for weeks, so it was a nice surprise to see he had moved up when Z and I went to tell him goodnight.
