Day 91: May 16th
They’ve dropped his oxygen down to 1/4 Liter, or 250 CC’s this morning. By the afternoon, they had dropped him down to 200cc’s. His nurse said she usually sees babies go home once they hit around the 50-75cc range. We’re getting close!!
Another interesting fact I learned today is that anytime he has a Bradycardia event, he will be on a 5 day monitoring period before they’d allow him to go home. He’s still having events occasionally during feeds, but it’s usually when he tires out in the middle of a feed. Overall though he is making good progress on his bottle feeds. He’ll take about 2-3 bottles, then sleep through the next one.
Our little peanut is making incredible progress each day!
